So, I decided that these were desperate times, that required desperate measures: So the mistake became obvious when the textures were applied… Now, under standard conditions, you just DON’T MESS WITH GEOMETRY, AFTER THE RIGGING HAS EVEN STARTED, let alone now, that the rigging was 100% finished!!!Īccording to my FatWolf rig, the NECK controller can be rotated from the animators, while everything else (Translation, Scale, etc.) is locked and hidden before passing it on to the them. But there was a mistake when I combined these two assets, which was noticed yesterday: The head was placed a little more forward than it should: Likewise, eyebrow blendshapes were added to the fat wolf, and I also added one more blendshape, so that the eyes are popping out.ĭuring last week, I combined Fat Wolf’s body (for which Olly painted weights) and Skinny Wolf’s head (Chris had painted weights for that). Some things that happened during the last 10 days…Īfter Olly created the eyebrow blendshapes for the Fat and Skinny Wolf, I added some driven keys for the animators…
