I had initially tried to transfer them all via OneDrive to cloud then down to my PC, but that was a mess so now I use only CopyTrans Photo, much more secure and the file names are not changed as they were with OneCloud. At work, I take a lot of iPhone photos of the construction site and use CopyTrans photos to manage and transfer them to my PC - very efficient and convenient. I use Windows OS and CopyTrans has allowed me to bridge that divide easily, I'm very happy with it and just upgraded to maintain the software updates. I bought CopyTrans some years ago and use it regularly - I can tell you that it works perfectly for me and has really given me control over my iPhone.
